Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko
Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko, the National Digital Readiness Programme, supports teachers and kaiako to engage with and implement the revised Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko curriculum content in the Technology Learning Areas and Hangarau Wāhanga Ako. It consists of a wealth of resources, a collaborative community space, and is the platform to access the many regional meetups happening all over Aotearoa.
Tahi Rua Toru Tech Challenge
Tahi Rua Toru Tech - 123Tech is New Zealand's national digital challenge for students that supports getting started with Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko in the classroom. The 123Tech Challenge is built around the successful TechHub CREST Challenge and is available across all school levels.
As part of the Ministry of Education Digital Technologies for All Equity fund, the Raranga Matihiko programme delivers innovative digital technologies to those with limited digital learning opportunities, while increasing access to national and local exhibitions and collections. Students solve real-world problems and enrich their knowledge of their communities and regions.
Digital Ignition / Māpura Matihiko supports the introduction of the revised Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko curriculum content into primary and intermediate schools and kura through workshops and resources. Each workshop is designed to ignite a sense of capability in students as it builds skills and understanding of digital technologies through fun and engaging activities.
